Album artwork for Paris Jackson's E.P

A little info about what my artwork has been used for..

About 9 months ago I created this painting (above) in the usual way that I create most of my paintings. It's painted on Fabriano Artistico paper using the highest quality watercolours. Once I finish a painting I like to take a photo of it and then upload it to my Instagram account.

About 2 days after posting this painting, I had a message come through on my Instagram from Paris Jackson asking me if she could use this image for an upcoming album cover.

I have to be honest I was a little taken back at first, and couldn't quite believe that this might actually be happening. I replied to the messages to say that it would be amazing to have my art on her upcoming album cover.

A few months passed and I didn't hear anything so thought that maybe she had changed her mind, but then true to her word she got back in contact to say she would like to pass my details over to her management company. From there everything ran smoothly and a few months later the album was released.

This was such an amazing feeling for an artist like myself, who has only been painting for a few years. I was so pleased that Paris had connected with something that I had created.

If my art can have a positive effect on someone then that means a lot to me. I am so grateful that she decided to use my artwork and I think it's great that she likes to support artists on their art journey.

The album is called 'lost' and has three beautiful tracks on it, and is a collaboration with a band called Caamp.
