My Feature in International Artist Magazine: A Watercolour Milestone

I’m thrilled to share a personal milestone in my creative journey: I have featured in International Artist magazine, one of the world’s leading publications for visual artists. As a watercolour painter, seeing my work and story in a magazine I’ve admired for years is both humbling and incredibly rewarding.

How It All Began

My journey into watercolour started with a simple curiosity about light, colour, and atmosphere. What began as small studies and weekend experiments slowly evolved into a deeper passion. Over time, I found my voice in loose, expressive washes combined with careful attention to detail—especially in capturing mood and movement.

The Opportunity:

When I received the email from International Artist, I had to read it twice to be sure it was real. The editorial team had come across my work and felt it would resonate with their readers. They invited me to contribute images of my paintings and answer a series of questions about my process, inspirations, and artistic philosophy.

The feature includes:

A selection of my watercolour pieces

Insights into my creative process

Tips and techniques I use in my studio

Reflections on how I stay inspired

Putting everything together was both exciting and reflective. It gave me a chance to look back at how far I’ve come and articulate the lessons I’ve learned along the way.

Why This Matters to Me:

Being featured in International Artist isn’t just about recognition—it’s about connection. It means my work is now part of a global conversation with artists and art lovers from all over the world. It reminds me that sharing our creative journeys can inspire others to take the next step, pick up a brush, or believe in their own potential.

Gratitude:

I’m deeply grateful to the editors and team at International Artist for this opportunity, and to everyone who has supported my work—friends, family, collectors, and fellow artists. Your encouragement has played a huge role in helping me reach this point.
